About
Alfred:
The Alfred Project is a set of programs and
patched programs, that authenticate to Novell NetWare 5. It was originally
designed for Glenunga International High School, to satisfy their authentication
needs. All of the Alfred components (except for the NLM) are licensed
under the GPL.
Developers:
Alfred was originally designed by Ian West, Tim Ansell & the NetWare
bloke for Glenunga International High Schhol. It was initially developed
for linux. If you wish to become an official member of the Alfred Project
Team, email us through the Contact Us section of
the site.
License:
Alfred was developed under the terms and conditions of the GPL (GNU
Public License), and is freely available for all to use. The code may
be modified for your individual use. The only component not licensed under the GPL is the NetWare Loadadble Module (NLM) which is freeware, without the sourcecode. We would appreciate it if you could
send in any fixes/additions to Alfred, through the Contact
Us section.
Downloads:
Alfred core and components are available for free to download. The following
are currently available. Those marked in red
are comming soon. Please Note that the NetWare 5 authentication module
binary is in NLM (NetWare Loadable Module) form.
